We love radio. That’s the reason why we are members of Rádio Zero. But we are also technology enthusiasts. We’ve been responsible for the setup and maintenance of Rádio Zero’s technical infrastructure for the past three years and have dealt first-hand with the problems that a community radio station faces.

Having developed a few ideas on how to address the issues of such radio stations, we decided that the best way to further grow those ideas was to create a place for them. A technological community working on problems it cares about, to support the social and cultural community that is the radio station. That is the driving force behind Zero Labs.

This is just the beginning. There’s lots of work to do. However, our ultimate goal is to create a vibrant and creative community, with contributions from anyone who shares our passion for radio or technology. We hope that you join us and take part of this new project.
